Heal from hurtful words and cultivate life-giving speech with this transformative 4-week gospel study.

Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.

This familiar expression, meant to encourage emotional resiliency, downplays the significant power words have in our lives. Words heal and wound, encourage and disappoint—a reality most all of us have experienced. We have all been wounded by harsh and hurtful words, perhaps allowing them to reside in our hearts and define us.

Sticks and Stones is a 4-week Bible study that reveals how the gospel transforms your heart and your speech. This study empowers you to heal from past wounds and honor others with life-giving words, finding assurance in the eternal words that truly matter. Through new life in Christ, you will renew the way you speak and receive words, as God redeems our voice to reflect the Word made flesh, Jesus Christ, our Savior.
